Attorney Skills and Qualifications:

Experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant
Seeking experienced legal assistants for our South Carolina and Georgia locations. Candidates who have worked as personal injury case managers or legal assistants are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must have the ability to manage a large case load in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establishes and organizes case files for new and existing clients
- Maintains case management system by uploading all client documents
- Keeps clients informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with client; communicating case progress
- Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc.
- Monitor and obtain discovery responses
- Request medical records from providers
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience as a legal assistant or case manager
- Experience using a case management system, preferably Needles
- Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
- Strong client/colleague communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

- Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Directs employees by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions

Intake Specialist/Call Center
Seeking experienced intake and call center specialist for our growing Charleston, SC location. Candidates who have worked as customer service representatives and/or with call center experience are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must have the ability to manage and handle multiple phones lines in a fast-paced office environment.
Flexible/alternative night and weekend hours also available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtains client information by answering telephone calls; interview clients; verifying information
- Enter client information into Needles Case Management System
- Determines eligibility by comparing client information to Firm requirements
- Informs clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, providing information
- Sets appointments on calendars to include time, place and investigator availability or office if appropriate
- Interaction with legal assistants and attorneys for decision on screening
- Advising caller if we can accept their case or not
- Follow up with potential clients regarding missed appointments and pending retainer packets
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience administrative experience
- Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple lines on a computerized phone system
- Data entry experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

Investigator
Requirements:
- Must have a notary license
- Be willing to work weekends and evenings, as needed
- Prior military or police experience preferred
- SLED license is not required
Responsibilities:
- Outstanding client service and care
- Must be able to obtain accurate information and complete report
- Needs to be able to report outcome of intake appointment to office staff in a timely manner
