Pursuing a legal action of any kind takes a great deal of planning, research, and more. It can be overwhelming and a lot to take on, which is why many people seek an attorney’s professional help. However, there are free resources that can inform you about your case or anything else you want to know, and George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers offers some of them here.
Take a look around to see the resources we feature on our site. We offer free, downloadable guides on auto accidents, accidents and property damage claims, and Social Security Disability. In the latter guide, we share seven costly mistakes that can ruin your Social Security Disability benefits claim. We also offer short video guides on Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation, among other topics.
Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Updates
Our online legal resource center also includes helpful information, news, and updates about the Camp Lejeune water contamination legislation.
Why Is the Camp Lejeune Legislation Important?
The Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 aims to compensate people who suffered exposure to toxic chemicals in the water during their time at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C., between Aug. 1, 1953, and Dec. 31, 1987. If passed, the law would extend by two years the statute of limitations for military personnel and their families who want to pursue legal action against the U.S. government for their water contamination-related injuries.
