When asked how you're doing, don't just say “fine” or “a little better.” It's much more helpful to give your doctors specifics of what you can and cannot do as well as when, where, and how you experience discomfort. Don't minimize your ailments to your doctor, as it's one of their very best ways of knowing how to treat you. However, don't exaggerate either.
