Air compressors that could start a fire are being recalled, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. DeVilbiss Air Power Company announced Thursday it is recalling 460,000 air compressors after discovering the air compressor motor can overheat and pose a fire risk.
"The recalled compressors were sold under the Craftsman, Delta Shopmaster, DeVilbiss, Husky and Porter-Cable brand names. The model number and manufacture date on each unit is located on the unit name plate on the tank," according to the CPSC press release.
