National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it has "received reports of 98 injuries due to unintentional air-bag deployments. Most of the accidents occurred when the trucks were started," according to news reports.
Included in the recall are F-150 pickups produced between November 2004 and June 2005 at Ford's Norfolk, Va., assembly plant, including 135,000 trucks in the U.S. and 9,000 in Canada.
Ford also recently recalled 363,000 F-150 pickup trucks because of a problem with the door handle, according to news reports.
