Dan was born and raised in rural Sussex County, New Jersey. The son of a computer software consultant and social worker, Dan chose to follow the latter’s path. Growing up, Dan had over 20 foster siblings who came from broken families. He saw that by simply being available and caring for them, their lives improved. Dan’s career and personal goal became to help people in a social work capacity. In 2004 Dan attained a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Social Services from William Paterson University. Dan served families in the State of New Jersey for 4 years as a social worker, working on behalf of developmentally disabled individuals, abused and neglected children and youth in the juvenile justice system.
Dan enjoyed his work as a social worker and wanted to do more for injured people and broken families. Dan went on to study law and in 2011 Dan graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school Dan continued his work on behalf of families. Dan was awarded a grant to provide aid to immigrant victims. Dan was also recognized with a volunteer of the year award through the Pro Bono Society at USC Law. After graduation, Dan continued his social work by serving as a Guardian ad litem and taking on family law, immigrant victim, and personal injury cases. Dan joined George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers because of their commitment to serve injured people with excellence.
While not at the office, Dan enjoys serving his church as an elder and plays bass guitar with the band. Dan and his son, David, enjoy playing ice hockey; his daughter Adalynn loves gymnastics, and his wife, Jennifer, is an avid photographer.
