Amber was born and raised in rural East Tennessee to an elementary school teacher and a mechanical engineer. She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee, and graduated with a degree in history. Amber excelled throughout her undergraduate career in both leadership and academics holding a position on the Dean’s List every semester and leadership positions in both Sigma Kappa Sorority and Baptist Collegiate Ministries.
Amber fulfilled her dream of becoming a lawyer in 2015 when she graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School with honors. During her time in law school, she sought to sharpen her litigation skills by participating in the Labor and Employment Moot Court and interning with the District Public Defender’s Office.
After law school, Amber joined a busy general practice firm near her hometown where she gained a passion for helping those with injuries and disabilities. Throughout this time, Amber gained significant litigation skills and a reputation for being a fierce and tenacious advocate for her clients. She is excited to now be able to use her skills and passion to help veterans struggling to navigate the VA.
Currently, Amber is a proud resident of Johns Island, South Carolina and in her free time enjoys cooking and listening to podcasts.
