Winnebago Industries is recalling the vehicle model Access from model year 2008 manufactured from April 10 to July 23, 2008. With overtime and frequent use, the roll-stop latches on the wheelchair lift’s outer barrier become bent or misaligned. The wheelchair occupant may ride over the insufficiently latched roll stop and cause injuries. As a remedy, Winnebago along with Braun Dealers will begin a campaign in April 2012 to identify the owners and repair the vehicles free of charge. For more information, owners can contact Winnebago at 1-641-585-6939 or log on to www.safercar.gov, according to news reports .
As a personal injury lawyer Charleston , I hope that nobody is adversely affected by this product. If you or someone dear to you was harmed by an unsafe product, discuss your claim with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your case, protect your rights, and answer any questions you may have concerning your case.
