A video sharing device was recently recalled because it may catch fire, according to news reports.
The device is called a “Pogoplug Video” made by Cloud Engines in San Francisco is being recalled.
The defective device may emit smoke, melt, or damage the desk it sits on. Nearly 11,000 units were sold in the US and Canada for $200 each through stores including Adorama, B&H, Best Buy, Buy.com, J&R, Pogoplug.com, New Egg, and Sony Style.
Pogoplugs were sold between March and June.
Cloud Engines is urging customers to return the device immediately and stop using them, along with unplug the device. According to news reports , owners of the device should contact Cloud Engines for further information.
