Three people were injured in a car accident Monday at the intersection of County Farm Road and Sweetwater Road, according to news reports.
Two adults and one child were injured in the two-vehicle collision around 8:30 a.m. The accident occurred when a Ford Taurus and Honda Passport were driving on County Farm Road. According to witnesses, “the driver of the Taurus turned left in front of the Honda causing the accident. Following the collision the Taurus ran down a small embankment and into a wooded area.”
The three injured passengers were transported by ambulance to Self Regional Healthcare.
The accident is being investigated.
