He pursued his education at Western Michigan University, where he earned master’s degrees in History and Business Administration. Deeply patriotic, Mr. Sink joined the United States Marine Corps and served as a Captain during the Vietnam War, completing two tours of duty. His decision to put his teaching career on hold and defend
his country exemplifies his selflessness and unwavering dedication to a greater cause.
Following his military service, George Sink turned his attention to the legal profession, attending Emory University School of Law. In 1974, he began his legal practice, and in 1977, he established his own law firm. With this firm, Mr. Sink has tirelessly fought for the rights of the injured and provided compassionate legal representation to countless individuals and families in South Carolina.
Beyond his legal career, George Sink has been an exemplary civic leader, embodying the spirit of giving back to his community. His philanthropic efforts have made a profound impact on the lives of many. From providing school supplies and scholarships to students to organizing Christmas toy drives and Thanksgiving dinners for the less fortunate, Mr. Sink’s charitable activities have touched the hearts of South Carolinians. He has been an avid supporter of the Lowcountry Dream Team children’s baseball team and has collaborated with Operation Coat Drive, among numerous other initiatives.
