Ross department stores are recalling chairs that could collapse under the weight of a person, according to news reports.
Acacia chairs sold nationwide by Ross Stores of Pleasanton, Calif., are affected by the recall. The product was sold between March 2011 and May 2011. The chairs have a natural finish made of acacia wood, according to news reports.
Ross said the chairs are being recalled because they could collapse when weight is placed on them, posing a fall hazard.
So far, five customers have already reported incidents of chairs collapsing. That includes four minor injuries reported.
Approximately 1,200 chairs are affected by the recall.
