Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., manufacturers of motorized recreational vehicles, has recalled certain models of the Spyder Roadster, manufactured during the year 2010. A pin securing the brake pedal to the rod is likely to loosen and fall off. This will cause dysfunction of the brake without the rider noticing, and may lead to fatal injury or even death. BRP has notified its existing customers and a replacement was put into effect. Owners may contact BRP for any queries and also contact the National Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline, according to news reports .
