Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., manufacturers of motorized recreational vehicles, has recalled certain models of the Spyder Roadster, manufactured during the year 2010. A pin securing the brake pedal to the rod is likely to loosen and fall off. This will cause dysfunction of the brake without the rider noticing, and may lead to fatal injury or even death. BRP has notified its existing customers and a replacement was put into effect. Owners may contact BRP for any queries and also contact the National Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline, according to news reports .
As a Beaufort personal injury attorney, I hope that nobody is adversely affected by this product. If you or someone dear to you was harmed by a recalled product, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your case and help protect your rights. I always urge consumers to check for product safety recalls and complete any product registration forms that will help you hear about recalls as soon as possible. An attorney can work hard to address any issues that arise in your case and help tackle any required paperwork and documentation. When you have an attorney on your side, they will help make sure your case proceeds smoothly and that you get the results you deserve. With an attorney fighting hard for you, you are more likely to get the outcome you deserve.
