Two people were injured, including a South Carolina Transport Police officer, in a car accident Friday morning in Greenville, N.C., according to news reports .
The car accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Rutherford Road near Wade Hampton Boulevard, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. It is unclear how the collision occurred, but according to police reports, the police officer was traveling to court when the crash happened.
Both the South Carolina Transport Police officer and the driver of the other vehicle were injured in the crash. The officer suffered minor injuries, and the driver of the other car is listed in critical condition, according to news reports.
