A massive fire at Williams Tire and Break on Pendleton Road has been contained.
Greenville County firefighters responded to the fire immediately. It is reported that the fire started inside the building after a pile of tires caught fire. The firefighters battled flames from inside the building.
Fearing the roof would collapse, Parker Fire District Chief, Richard Jones, ordered the crew out of the building after the flames reached the ceiling inside.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.
