American Honda Motor Co. is recalling about a half million of their 2002-03 CRV and 2003 Pilot model vehicles. They will perform a free inspection and retrofit of the headlight switch for customers. The recall was conducted because it was discovered that the wiring harness can deteriorate due to a combined action of tension, wear on terminals and oxidation that could lead to overheating and melting, rendering the low beam headlights inoperative.
