George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers is proud to sponsor the 2017 Columbia Black Expo! This annual community event is in its landmark 20^th year, and will take place from May 15^th-20^th, 2017 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The event is part of the annual Black Expo series found throughout the American south with the goal of connecting bringing together members of the African-American community and connecting them with minority-owned businesses and resources available to them. Previous years have brought in more than 800 exhibitors and 85,000 visitors to the series, which takes place in Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville, South Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida.

The event also features a number of seminars and helpful informational talks on a wide range of topics, including money management, buying and selling a home, buying a car, healthy eating, and home living. While this year’s list of events has not yet been finalized, it’s very likely many of these same topics will be featured at the Charleston show. Previous events have also featured appearances from black celebrities, and this year’s event will likely be no different.

This is also a great chance for those in the community to celebrate and support local caterers, chefs, and black-owned restaurants. The seventh-annual Taste of Black Columbia takes place on May 19^th at the South Carolina State Museum. We will also have a booth on May 20^th with giveaways that includes a chance to win a free TV!
