A driver succumbed to injuries sustained in an Aug. 1 car accident, according to news reports .
The victims, who has yet to be identified, was injured in a late-night crash Aug. 1 when traveling south on US-15. The collision occurred when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit a guardrail and ejected the driver, according to news reports.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver of the 1994 Toyota four-door vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt.
