Daimler Trucks (DTNA) is recalling the 2012 Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 4900 manufactured on December 22, 2011 to February 23, 2012. They are being recalled because the vehicles with certain National Seat Brand Driver’s seats may have been out-of-specification welds that may lead to the seat buckling unexpectedly and this could effect the vehicle control and visibility leading to the risk of a crash. The company will have replacement components installed free of charge, according to news reports .
