One man was seriously injured in a car accident off Highway 137, in which he is charged with drunken driving with his toddler, according to news reports .
The 26-year-old man was driving along S.C 137 when he lost control of his 2002 Mercury minivan and struck a utility pole and flipped over.
The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries. He was listed in fair condition on Thursday at Greenville Hospital System, according to news report.
The condition of a toddler strapped in a car seat at the time of the accident, however, is unknown.
Police believe alcohol played a role in the collision. The man was charged with drunken driving, child endangerment, driving with a suspended license and failing to use a seat belt.
