A construction fire blocked part of Ebenezer Road in Florence on Monday, according to news reports .
The incident occurred at the stretch of Ebenezer Road between Pine Needles Road and Radio Road. A fire broke out when between 75 and 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled out onto the roadway when the piece of machinery caught fire, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. It is unclear what vehicle caught fire, but it is believed to be a paving machine.
