Glass votive candle holders are being recalled because they pose a fire and laceration hazard, according to news reports .
The recalled items are small glass candle holders that were imported by Greenbrier International Inc. of Chesapeake, Va., and sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores nationwide from December 2010 through April 2011, according to news reports. About 117,000 items are affected by the recall.
The candle holders pose serious injury risks because they can shatter while in use, posing a fire and laceration hazard.
So far, no injuries have been reported, but the firm has received one report of a candle holder shattering, according to news reports.
