Calhoun County drivers are among the safest, according to news reports .
According to a new study by the auto club AAA Carolinas, Calhoun County had 442 collisions over 474.6 million vehicle miles traveled in 2009. The statistics reported that it made them least likely in the state to be involved in a collision.
Other counties were also ranked in the study:
“Calhoun County ranked 38th for the number of fatalities per vehicle mile traveled, with six fatalities. Orangeburg County ranked 27th in the number of crashes at 2,398 for 1.5 billion vehicle miles traveled.”
As a Beaufort car accident attorney , I’m glad to hear that some drivers are still being safe and avoiding car accidents. I’m proud of Calhoun County drivers for being safe drivers. I hope drivers in other counties can work to drive safer by not being distracted or driving under the influence.
