Colin Snow has been a practicing attorney for over 7 years. While he has practiced in many areas over the years (Family Law, Child Custody, DSS, Business Litigation, Real Estate Disputes, Real Estate Transactions, landlord-tenant disputes, Alcohol Licensing Disputes, etc.), he found a love for practicing personal injury law in 2017 and now practice in that area exclusively.
Insurance companies make their profits based on a simple formula. Receive as much as possible from those paying insurance premiums and pay out as little as possible on claims. The reality is that the only leverage a person has is the ability to pursue legal action. The laws pertaining to personal injury are extensive and, without a legal education or background, it is an exceedingly difficult area of law to navigate. Obtaining and presenting admissible evidence and knowing what factors play into the value of a case is critically important. Hiring an attorney early in a case statistically has resulted in significantly higher recovery amounts.
For undergraduate school, Colin attended Georgia Southern University where he pitched on the baseball team for 3 years. Unfortunately, during his Junior year of college, Colin suffered an arm injury, and pitching no longer was an option. Colin turned his focus to academics exclusively in pursuit of a career. He decided to go to law school after a particularly engaging professor in college sparked his interest. Colin has always been quick to learn, but this class was particularly difficult, and many students failed. He ended up not just passing but nearly getting the highest grade of anyone in his class. After undergrad, Colin enrolled at the Charleston School of Law where he obtained my Juris Doctoris and began his legal career.
In his time practicing law, Colin has handled many cases of all different values. Colin has resolved many cases over six figures, including a dog bite case for $500,000.00 and a DUI Accident case for $1.65 million. Nonetheless, Colin’s favorite scenario involved representing a personal friend and his wife in an auto accident case a few years back. He was able to obtain a settlement figure large enough that they were finally able to afford to put a down payment on a house! They and their children got to move into a home where everyone had their own bedroom. Needless to say, he is invited to their barbecues!
Colin married to his beautiful wife, Mrs. Amy Snow. Together they raise our son, Everett Snow. They also have two dogs and a leopard gecko! In his free time, Colin enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, hiking, photographing wildlife, playing sports, and fishing.
