Byron Vincent Leary, II (“Brent”) was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Brent attended the University of South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History. Brent worked as a project assistant for a large regional law firm immediately after graduation. He then attended the Charleston School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2015. During his time in law school, Brent clerked for the South Carolina Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Berkeley County. Brent received the CALI award in Constitutional Law I, as well as the Charleston School of Law’s Award for Outstanding Pro-Bono Service.
After graduating from law school, Brent and his wife, Eleanor, settled in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina where he began his legal practice with a large, personal injury law firm. During his career, Brent has aggressively represented thousands of clients who were injured through the carelessness of others. In 2020, Brent and his wife welcomed their son, Byron. Brent has a deep understanding of insurance claims and civil litigation. Brent is eager and pleased to be able to continue helping the people of South Carolina.
