Students applying for George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyer’s Veterans & Military Family Scholarship must be enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited U.S. college or university. The scholarship is only open to U.S. active duty service members, veterans and spouses and children of active duty or retired service members. High school students, high school graduates, undergraduates, and graduate students may apply. Candidates must apply by June 15, 2023, and applicants must be scheduled to enroll by August 31, 2023.
Winner must submit the appropriate documentation to prove military status. We accept the following documentation:
- Military ID
- Military dependent ID
- Service orders
- DD Form 214
Applications must submit updated transcripts with current GPA. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will nullify your application and result in disqualification.
Candidates must submit a 500- to 1,000-word essay along with their application. George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers, its scholarship committee, and representatives assume no liability for any technical problems or error that occur during the submission of the application or accompanying uploads, or any other errors, negligence or even willful failures. “
When the application submission period ends, the scholarship committee will determine a winner and inform him/her via phone and/or email. The committee’s decision is final. We may announce the winner on our site, social media page, and other media platforms.
Students may reapply each in each semester the scholarship is offered and for each semester they are enrolled in school, but on each application, the essay must cover a different topic.
Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:
1. Employees or children of employees of George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers
2. Past recipients of the Veterans and Military Family Scholarship
3. Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers if he/she were to be awarded the scholarship.
4. Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships
Our Privacy Policy
George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers respects applicants’ privacy. We will use the information students provide on the Veterans & Military Family Scholarship application form solely for the purposes of determining a scholarship winner. We will not sell or distribute any personal information from the application, with the exception of the applicant’s name and essay. After informing the winner of his/her scholarship reward, we will announce him/her as the winner and publish the essay, in whole or in part, on our website and other public media outlets.
