Webasto is recalling a few of their Hollandia 700 and 600 series and Hollandia 900 series sunroofs as the bond between the glass and metal frame could debond, hence there is an increasing risk of the sunroof glass separating from the vehicle. This may cause metal corrosion around the sunroof frame, wind noise, vibration, visual bond separation or even water leakage, which could lead to road hazards and car crash. Webasto will be conducting a safety recall campaign starting October 8, 2010. You can review the list of vehicles that are under the group of vehicles that will be recalled by visiting Webasto’s website at www.sunroofcheck.com or call them toll free at 1-888-749-8632, according to news reports.
As a Sumter personal injury lawyer, I hope that nobody is adversely affected by a recalled vehicle. I always urge customers to remain alert of recalls in case a product they own is deemed unsafe. If you or someone dear to you was harmed by an unsafe vehicle or product, you may want to get in touch with a personal injury attorney who can sort through the evidence and information relating to your case. With an attorney fighting hard to protect your rights, you are more likely to get the results you deserve for your case. An attorney can make sure you get the best possible results for your claim by answering any questions you may have and completing any legal paperwork or documentation.
