South Carolina investigators are searching for the driver of an 18-wheeler involved in a hit-and-run accident on Daniel Island, SC.
According to Charleston Police Department, the accident started as a single vehicle accident and took place on River Landing Drive exit of I-526. The driver lost control of the vehicle, and the SUV crossed traffic and hit the wall. The passenger in the backseat was ejected from the vehicle and then run over by an 18-wheeler.
Authorities are searching for the driver of the 18-wheeler who fled the scene after striking the victim.
