One of the victims who was injured in a crash on Wednesday in North Charleston is improving in the hospital, according to news reports.
The 48-year-old Summerville man is reportedly listed in “good” condition at the Medical University of South Carolina. The man was one of two victims injured in a fiery crash on Interstate 26 on Wednesday morning, according to news reports.
The man was injured when a tractor trailer he was driving slammed into another large truck. The trucks were hauling wood chips, and the collision created a large fire and shut down the Interstate for hours, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It is unclear if anyone was charged for the crash.
The other victim, a 40-year-old, is at MUSC in fair condition, according to news reports.
