Suspect Crashes Car After Shooting

By Personal Injury Lawyer on January 23, 2012

A suspect who allegedly shot a woman was killed after colliding his vehicle, said Anderson County officials. The 33-year-old succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning. Police believe he accidentally shot the woman then drove away in a panic and collided. His vehicle veered off the side of the roadway and crashed into a utility pole along with several trees. The driver was ejected from the car. At the time of the collision, his blood alcohol level was nearly thee times as high as the .08 legal limit, according to news reports.

As a Columbia car accident lawyer, my thoughts are with those involved in this collision. I hope nobody else was harmed in the wreck. If you or a loved one were harmed by a reckless driver, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your case, help protect your rights, and answer any questions you may have concerning your case.
