School Buses Not Meeting Safety Standards

By SinkLawAdmin on January 5, 2012

Micro Bird is beginning a recall of school buses with model years of 2009-2012, and will begin the recall February 2012. Micro Bird will notify owners and dealers and then repair them free of charge. The recall is due to ceiling panels which do not meet the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The ceiling panels may separate in the event of a crash causing injury to passengers. For further information or questions owners may contact The National Highway Safety Administration, according to news reports.

As a Sumter personal injury lawyer, I hope that no one is harmed by driving or riding in these defective school buses. If you or someone dear to you was adversely affected by a product that was not safe enough, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney who can go through your case and fight hard to defend your legal rights.
