Police Still Trying to Identify Man in Friday Crash

By Personal Injury Lawyer on December 6, 2011

Police are still trying to identify a pedestrian who was killed on US 17 Friday night. The wreck happened around 9pm near Bull Corner Road when a black male in his early 20′s succumbed to his injuries after being hit by more than one car. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Officer believe he was hit by more than one car, and as many as five. One driver pulled over to call 911, just before two more cars hit the victim. The body was sent to the Medical University of South Carolina for an autopsy. Investigators are attempting to get an identity of the man who had no identifying marks. He has yet to be linked to a missing-person report, according to news reports.

As an auto accident lawyer, I hope police identify the victim soon. If you or a loved one were hurt in a collision, get in touch with a personal injury attorney who can work to defend your legal rights. A personal injury lawyer can also help guide you through the steps associated with your personal injury case in order to reach the best possible outcome.
