Police Identify Suspected Car in Hit-and-Run Wreck

By Personal Injury Lawyer on December 21, 2011

New information regarding a hit-and-run wreck in Holly Hill has surfaced. A representative for the South Carolina Highway Patrol said they believe a 1996-1999 Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis with headlight damage is suspected for crashing then fleeing the scene of the fatal automobile wreck. The crash occurred around 5am on Sunday along Sugar Hill Road in Holly Hill. Witnesses who have any information are urged to get in touch with South Carolina Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers. Information that leads to the arrest of a suspect could bring you a cash reward of $1,000. There are two cars suspected in the collision because they have similar body types, according to news reports.

As a Charleston car accident lawyer, my thoughts are with the victim’s family in this tragic crash. I hope that police find the suspect involved in this collision as soon as possible. If you or someone you love was harmed in a crash caused by negligent driving, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your claim, help assess the information of your case, and work hard to protect and defend your legal rights. A lawyer can work for you to ensure the processes of your case proceed smoothly.
