Peanut Butter Pulled from Shelves

By Personal Injury Lawyer on December 1, 2011

Smucker’s Natual Peanut Butter Chunky is undergoing a recall because it may be contaminated with salmonella. 16 ounce jars of the product with specific UPC and production codes, best-by date of August 3 or August 4, 2012 are included in the recall. Only the chunky variety of peanut butter is included in the recall. The recalled item was purchased by customers between November 8-17, 2011. No other JM Smucker Company products are included in the recall. There have been no reported illnesses, however the recall was made as a precautionary measure. Customers who purchased this item are urged to throw it out as soon as possible and get in touch with the company for a replacement, according to news reports.

As a car accident lawyer Walterboro, I hope customers who purchased this product throw it away immediately. If yourself or someone you know was affected by an unsafe product, discuss your case with a personal injury lawyer who can assess and discuss your case with you, along with respond to important legal questions relating to your case. A personal injury lawyer can help by leading you through all legal processes and assisting you in order to reach the best possible results for your case.
