A man crossing Highway 76 was hit by two vehicles last night around 6:30pm, said Highway Patrol. The 50-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the wreck in Mullins. There is no autopsy planned at this time. Nobody else was injured in the wreck, and so far no other charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation by South Caroline Highway Patrol, according to news reports.
