“Little Tricky” Helmet Declared Unsafe

By Personal Injury Lawyer on January 6, 2012

Helmets are made to protect someone from a serious injury, but one helmet in particular was found to cause more harm than good. The “Little Tricky” helmets manufactured by Triple Eight Distribution are being recalled after an investigation by the Consumer Product Safety Commission revealed they do not follow proper safety rules, resulting in injuries for the user. About 30,400 helmets are part of the recall. The recalled helmets were made for children and they are available in a variety of colors. Stores across the country are taking them off shelves, and they are being removed from internet sites, where they sold for $40 from August 2006 to November 2011. The defective helmets were made in China. Those who purchased the product are asked to contact Triple Eight immediately for a refund, according to news reports.

As a Florence personal injury attorney, I hope those who own this product return it as soon as possible. If you or a loved one were harmed by an unsafe, discuss your case with a personal injury lawyer who can evaluate your claim and fully assess your case. A lawyer can work hard to protect you legal rights in order to get the best possible compensation for your case.
