Leaking Struts Lead to Odyssey Recall

By SinkLawAdmin on February 22, 2012

Honda is recalling its Odyssey vehicles from model year 2008-2009 due to manufacturing flaws that reduce the life of gas struts. The fault results in leakage of the pressurized gas in the struts, increasing the risk of personal injury. Honda promises to replace both the power liftgate gas struts free of charge. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-800-999-1009, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s safety hotline. The safety recall is expected to commence on or about March 13, 2012, according to news reports.
