Evenflo announces recall of some of its Maestro Child Restraint Systems. The products manufactured from November 24, 2009 to April 9, 2010 with model numbers 310 and onwards are recalled for their nonconformity to the requirements of structural integrity laid down by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No.213. A crash event may cause injury to the child. Reinforcement plates with instructions to repair will be provided without charge to the owners by the company. The recall started on October 15, 2010. Owners can contact the company at 1-800-233-5921 (toll-free) and Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236. They can also visit HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV, according to news reports.
As a Moncks Corner personal injury lawyer, I hope that nobody is adversely affected by this recalled product. If you or someone dear to you was harmed by a product, discuss your claim with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your case, and discuss your claim along with any questions you may have concerning your case.
