A man from Gaston County has been charged with a DWI, speeding, reckless driving, and resisting arrest. He was charged early today while driving along Interstate 85. The 42-year-old man was pulled over by a state trooper at about 1:30am near mile marker 27. He was going 108mph in a 60mph speed zone in his 2008 Chrysler. During a breathalyzer test he blew .16, twice the legal limit. According to news reports, he is being held in Gaston County Jail.
As a Columbia car accident attorney, I hope nobody was harmed by this reckless driver. My thoughts are with those who were harmed. If you or a loved one were hurt in an auto accident, discuss your case with a personal injury attorney who can evaluate your claim, assess your case, help defend your rights, and answer any legal questions you have concerning your case. A personal injury lawyer can help guide you through the legal processes associated with your case in order to help ensure the best possible outcome.
