One person was injured in a train and car collision Wednesday afternoon in Little Mountain, S.C., according to news reports.
The accident occurred around 2 p.m. Wednesday in Little Mountain community on
Dr. Bowers Road, according to news reports.
It is unclear exactly what caused the collision, but the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident occurred when a train crashed into a Volkswagen Bug, where a driveway crosses the railroad tracks.
The driver of the Volkswagen Bug was injured in the collision and transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown.
