By Personal Injury Lawyer on December 2, 2011

An autopsy performed on a male body found on I-26 confirms they have injuries consistent with being hit by a car. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time. The body was discovered Thursday morning by a Department of Transportation employee who was cutting grass in the median of I-26 from mile marker 176 to 178. The body was there for at least a month before it was discovered. Investigators believe he was hit by large vehicle, potentially a semi-truck. The incident caused authorities to close to roadway for several hours in order to investigate. According to news reports, investigators are following several leads relating to the pedestrian crash.
