Authorities are investigating the Sunday afternoon death of a motorist who died after a single-vehicle crash in Westminster, say news reports.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the 27-year-old Westminster man was involved in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on North Horseshoe Bridge Road outside of Westminster. The vehicle went of the right side of the road and struck a culvert, which caused the vehicle to overturn. The man was ejected from the vehicle. Reports did not indicate whether or not the man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash.
The Oconee County Corner’s Office reports that the man died at a Greenville medical center as a result of a head trauma suffered in the crash. The coroner has ruled that the incident was an accident.
