A 25-year-old Spartanburg woman died after single-vehicle crash just outside of that city Wednesday night, report news sources.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. when the 2004 Kia that the woman was driving veered off Highway 56 as it was traveling eastbound about three miles south of the city of Spartanburg. The vehicle went off the left side of the road, hit a culvert and overturned.
The woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to a local medical center where she was declared dead of her injuries Thursday night, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation through a joint effort of the Highway Patrol and Coroner’s Office.
As a Spartanburg car accident attorney, I have witnessed first-hand the grief and sorrow of those left behind after an unexpected death. My heartfelt condolences go out to the woman’s family, friends and loved ones. Being a Spartanburg personal injury lawyer, I know how important it is for grieving people to have a strong support network. I hope the woman’s loved ones are getting the care and support they need during this difficult time.
