South Carolina Highway Patrol investigators are looking for information involving a hit-and-run car accident in Orangeburg on Tuesday, according to news reports.
The accident occurred Tuesday around when a green Nissan Frontier reportedly crashed into the back of a vehicle at the intersection of Chestnut Street and St. Matthews Road, according to news reports. It is unclear what caused the Nissan to crash.
Police are now looking for the driver of the green Nissan, according to the ODPS. They believe the Nissan sustained substantial damage to its front end.
No injuries were reported in connection to the hit-and-run, but damage to the Orangeburg County man’s vehicle is estimated to be about $1,000, according to news reports.
