Easley Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash in Pickens County

By Personal Injury Lawyer on October 24, 2011

Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a motorist in Pickens County early Sunday morning, report media sources.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:55 a.m. when a 1996 Dodge pickup truck traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 123 veered off the road and rolled over about nine miles south of Easley.

The driver of the truck, identified as a 22-year-old Easley man, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Authorities say he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Highway Patrol says that speed appears to have been a factor in the crash; however, the incident remains under investigation.

As an Orangeburg auto accident attorney, I have witnessed first-hand the grief and sorrow of those left behind after an unexpected death. My heartfelt condolences go out to the man’s family, friends and loved ones. Being an Orangeburg personal injury lawyer, I know how important it is for grieving people to have a strong support network. I hope the man’s loved ones are getting the care and support they need during this difficult time.
