A Conway man died after the pickup truck he was driving went off the road and stuck a tree Friday morning, report media sources.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the early morning crash occurred at 2:25 a.m. when a 1991 Ford pickup truck traveling northbound on Still Pond Road veered off the road and struck a tree after the driver, a 45-year-old Conway man, apparently lost control of the vehicle.
The driver of the truck was transported by ambulance to the emergency room of a local hospital; he was then transferred to an area acute care medical center. The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, died of injuries suffered in the crash at 5:17 a.m.
As a Columbia auto accident lawyer, I have witnessed first-hand the shock and grief of those left behind after an unexpected death. My heartfelt condolences go out to the man’s family, friends and loved ones. Being a Columbia personal injury attorney, I know how important it is for grieving people to have a strong support network. I hope the man’s loved ones are getting the care and support they need during this difficult time.
